There is an investigative account within the Gambling Control Fund. All funds received for the purpose of paying expenses incurred by the department for investigation of an application for a license or approval under this chapter shall be deposited in the account. Expenses may be advanced from the investigative account to the department by the chief.

Establishes an investigative account within the Gambling Control Fund and requires all money received to pay department expenses for investigating license or approval applications to be deposited there. Allows the chief to advance investigation expenses from that account to the department, without stating a particular deposit amount, advance cap, repayment schedule, or exception.
