No board member is disqualified from receiving a share of any purse awarded him as the result of any horse race as an owner of a horse or as a breeder of a California-bred horse.

Allows a board member to receive a share of a purse awarded from a horse race when the member receives it as a horse owner or as a breeder of a California-bred horse. The provision expressly prevents that ownership or breeder interest from disqualifying the member and states no monetary cap, disclosure condition, or additional exception.
