A person who, after receiving a notice of suspension or revocation, continues to display for sale cigarettes or tobacco products shall be subject to a civil penalty of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each offense, and shall not be subject to Section 22981.

Notes

Prohibits a person who has received notice of a cigarette or tobacco license suspension or revocation from continuing to display those products for sale. Each offense carries a $1,000 civil penalty, and the person is expressly not subject to the separate penalties otherwise provided for violations of this licensing division.
