California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 9 — Alcoholic BeveragesChapter 3 — Licenses and FeesArticle 2 — FeesSection 23321.6

The license for vessels of more than 1,000 tons burden engaged in interstate and foreign commerce shall be issued to a common carrier by water selling distilled spirits on board vessels operating in this State, and a duplicate thereof shall be obtained for each vessel on which distilled spirits are sold.

Notes

Requires a common carrier by water selling distilled spirits aboard vessels exceeding 1,000 tons burden in interstate or foreign commerce to obtain the vessel license. A duplicate license must also be obtained for each individual vessel on which distilled spirits are sold, so the carrier’s principal license alone does not cover every vessel.
