Notwithstanding any other provision of this division, a licensed wholesaler or importer may be issued and may hold retail package off-sale beer and wine licenses if the wholesaler or importer sells wine and no other alcoholic beverages at or from the retail premises.

Notes

Allows a licensed wholesaler or importer to hold retail package off-sale beer and wine licenses despite other provisions of the division, but only if the retail premises sell wine and no other alcoholic beverages. The exception is therefore limited to wine-only retail activity and states no separate deadline, fee, quantity threshold, or additional carve-out.
