If at the end of 20 days after the notice has been mailed or published there is no verified answer on file, the court shall hear evidence upon the fact of unlawful use and shall, upon proof thereof, order the alcoholic beverages or other property forfeited to the State.
Notes
Requires the court, when no verified answer has been filed 20 days after the forfeiture notice was mailed or published, to hear evidence on whether the alcoholic beverages or other property were unlawfully used. If unlawful use is proved, the court must order the beverages or property forfeited to the state.
