Notwithstanding Section 1636.4, graduates of a foreign dental school whose program was approved by the board prior to January 1, 2020, through any date before January 1, 2024, and who enrolled in the program prior to January 1, 2020, shall be eligible for licensure pursuant to Section 1628.

Notes

Allows graduates of a foreign dental school to remain eligible for licensure under the referenced provision when the school’s program was board-approved before January 1, 2020, through a date before January 1, 2024, and the graduate enrolled in that program before January 1, 2020. All stated timing conditions must be satisfied.
