A general anesthesia permitholder who has a permit that was issued before January 1, 2022, may follow the terms of that existing permit until it expires. Any permit issued or renewed pursuant to this article on or after January 1, 2022, shall require the permitholder to follow the new requirements of this article.

Allows a general anesthesia permitholder whose permit was issued before January 1, 2022, to follow that existing permit’s terms until it expires. Any general anesthesia permit issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2022, requires compliance with the new requirements of this article rather than continuation under the prior permit terms.
