“Certified public accountant” means any person who has received from the board a certificate of certified public accountant and who holds a valid permit to practice under the provisions of this chapter.

Notes

Defines certified public accountant as a person who has received a certified public accountant certificate from the board and also holds a valid permit to practice under this chapter. Both the board-issued certificate and a currently valid practice permit are part of the statutory definition.
