California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 2 — Property, Part 2 — Real or Immovable Property, Title 3 — Rights and Obligations of Owners, Chapter 3 — Environmental Responsibility Acceptance Act, Section 855

The notification requirements of Section 851 shall not become effective until 180 days after the effective date of this chapter.

Notes

Sets the notification requirements in the referenced hazardous-materials provision to become effective 180 days after the chapter’s effective date. The rule delays operation of those notice requirements for that 180-day period rather than making them effective immediately when the chapter itself takes effect.
