California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 8.5 — Locksmiths, Article 4 — Licenses, Section 6980.25

If an applicant fails to complete his or her application within one year after it has been filed, the application shall be considered to be abandoned. An application submitted subsequent to the abandonment of a former application shall be treated as a new application.

Notes

Sets a locksmith-license application to be treated as abandoned when the applicant does not complete it within one year after filing. Requires any application submitted after abandonment of the earlier application to be treated as a new application rather than as a continuation or completion of the abandoned filing.
