No person shall engage in the business of a proprietary private security employer unless registered with the department pursuant to this chapter. However, a proprietary private security employer meeting one of the requirements of Section 7574.14 shall be considered exempt from registration.

Notes

Prohibits a person from operating as a proprietary private security employer unless registered with the department under the chapter. A proprietary private security employer that meets one of the requirements in Section 7574.14 is expressly exempt from the registration requirement.
