Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Director of Consumer Affairs is authorized to temporarily reduce fees required by either paragraph (1) or (2) of subdivision (h) of Section 7588, or both, upon receipt of federal funds by the Department of Consumer Affairs for implementation of this act or any enhancement of private security services in this state, provided that the funds received are sufficient to justify the reduction.

Notes

Allows the Director of Consumer Affairs, notwithstanding other law, to temporarily reduce fees required by either or both specified paragraphs of Section 7588(h) after the department receives federal funds to implement the act or enhance private security services, but only when the amount received is sufficient to justify the fee reduction.
