California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 2 — Property, Part 2 — Real or Immovable Property, Title 2 — Estates in Real Property, Chapter 2.5 — Mobilehome Residency Law, Article 3.5 — Fees and Charges, Section 798.35

A homeowner shall not be charged a fee based on the number of members in his or her immediate family. As used in this section, the “immediate family” shall be limited to the homeowner, his or her spouse, their parents, their children, and their grandchildren under 18 years of age.

Notes

Bars management from charging a homeowner a fee based on the number of members in the homeowner's immediate family. Limits immediate family to the homeowner, spouse, their parents, their children, and their grandchildren under 18 years of age, leaving other household members outside that protection.
