California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 12.5 — Geologists and Geophysicists, Article 4 — Registration, Section 7852.1
(a) Each geophysicist licensed under this chapter shall, upon licensure, obtain a seal of the design authorized by the board bearing the licensee’s name, number of his or her certificate, and the legend “professional geophysicist.”
(b) Each specialty geophysicist certified under this chapter shall, upon certification, obtain a seal of the design authorized by the board bearing the licensee’s name, number of his or her certificate, and the legend of the appropriate specialty in geophysics in which he or she is certified under this chapter.
Notes
Requires every geophysicist licensed under the chapter, upon licensure, to obtain a board-authorized seal bearing the licensee’s name, certificate number, and “professional geophysicist.” Requires every certified specialty geophysicist, upon certification, to obtain a board-authorized seal bearing the licensee’s name, certificate number, and the appropriate certified geophysics specialty.
