California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 13 — Shorthand Reporters, Article 4 — Revenue, Section 8030

All fees and other revenues received by the board shall be reported promptly to the State Controller and shall be deposited with the State Treasurer to be placed in the Court Reporters’ Fund, which fund is continued in existence in the State Treasury, and shall be available, upon appropriation by the Legislature, to carry out this chapter.

Notes

Requires all fees and other board revenues to be promptly reported to the State Controller and deposited with the State Treasurer in the Court Reporters’ Fund. Limits availability of that continuing State Treasury fund to carrying out the chapter and only upon appropriation by the Legislature, making legislative appropriation a condition of expenditure.
