California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 19.5 — Aircraft Repair, Section 9797

Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, upon authorization from the customer as to a specific job, a repairperson may work on an aircraft on a time and materials basis.

Notes

Allows a repairperson, despite contrary provisions, to perform aircraft work on a time-and-materials basis when the customer authorizes that arrangement for a specific job. The authorization is limited to the particular job approved by the customer and does not establish a general right to use time-and-materials billing without job-specific consent.
