The director may by regulation prescribe fees lower than the maximum fees established by this chapter if the director determines that lower fees will be adequate to offset the costs incurred by the bureau and the committee in the administration of this part.

Notes

Allows the director, by regulation, to set fees below the maximum amounts established by the chapter when the director determines the lower fees will adequately offset the costs incurred by the bureau and the committee in administering the part. The authority is limited by the requirement that the reduced fees remain sufficient for those administrative costs.
