Except as provided elsewhere in this code any person who by himself or his employee or agent, or as the employee or agent of another, sells any commodity according to gross weight or measure is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Notes
Prohibits a person, personally or through an employee or agent, from selling a commodity according to gross weight or gross measure except where another provision of the code allows it. A sale violating this rule is expressly classified as a misdemeanor.
