California CodesBusiness and Professions Code - BPCDivision 5 — Weights and MeasuresChapter 3 — Standards of Weights and MeasuresSection 12301

No contract or pleading is invalid or subject to objection because the weights or measures expressed or referred to therein are weights or measures of the metric system.

Notes

Bars a contract or pleading from being treated as invalid or objectionable merely because the weights or measures it expresses or references use the metric system. The provision protects the use of metric weights and measures in those documents from serving, by itself, as a basis for invalidity or objection.
