California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 5 — Weights and Measures, Chapter 7 — Weighmasters, Section 12718.5
Subdivision (g) of Section 12718 does not apply to any of the following:
(a) Persons engaged in the business of printing, distributing, or selling weighmaster certificate forms.
(b) Persons possessing or transporting combination grade and weight certificates to be used by employees of marketing order boards or grading inspection services of either the department or the United States Department of Agriculture.
Notes
Exempts specified persons from the prohibition on nonweighmasters possessing unfilled or unused weighmaster certificate forms. The exemption covers businesses printing, distributing, or selling those forms and persons possessing or transporting combined grade-and-weight certificates for use by employees of marketing-order boards or grading inspection services of the department or United States Department of Agriculture.
