A thing in action, arising out of the violation of a right of property, or out of an obligation, may be transferred by the owner.
Notes
Allows the owner to transfer a thing in action that arises either from violation of a property right or from an obligation. The transferability rule applies to this form of claim or enforceable right when it originates from either of those two stated sources.
