The disobedience of a subpoena issued under Section 18846 shall be attended by the same consequences and subject to the same penalties as if such disobedience occurred in an action in the superior court.

Sets disobedience of a subpoena issued under the referenced commission provision to carry the same consequences and penalties as disobedience of a subpoena in a superior court action. The rule equates commission-subpoena noncompliance with superior-court subpoena noncompliance for enforcement and punishment.
