Notwithstanding subdivision (a) of Section 19605, and Section 19605.1, any fair in the Counties of Kern, Shasta, or Stanislaus may, with the approval of the Department of Food and Agriculture and the authorization of the board, subject to the conditions specified in Section 19605.3, operate one satellite wagering facility within the boundaries of that fair.

Notes

Allows any fair in Kern, Shasta, or Stanislaus County to operate one satellite wagering facility within that fair's boundaries, notwithstanding the referenced general satellite-facility limits. The authority requires approval from the Department of Food and Agriculture, authorization from the board, and compliance with the conditions specified in the referenced provision.
