No petroleum distributor shall deny to any gasoline dealer or prospective gasoline dealer the right to be accompanied by counsel or a personal representative to any meeting held between the parties for the purpose of negotiating the terms of a franchise.

Prohibits a petroleum distributor from denying a gasoline dealer or prospective gasoline dealer the right to have counsel or a personal representative accompany the dealer at any meeting between the parties held to negotiate franchise terms. The protection applies to both existing and prospective gasoline dealers during franchise negotiations.
