Nothing in this division prevents or restricts the use of tax-free ethyl alcohol under regulation of the Treasury Department of the United States Government by any governmental agency, state or federal, or by any scientific university or college of learning or any laboratory for use exclusively in scientific research, or by any hospital or sanitarium.

Notes

Allows use of tax-free ethyl alcohol under United States Treasury Department regulation without restriction by the division when used by a state or federal governmental agency, a scientific university or college, a laboratory exclusively for scientific research, or a hospital or sanitarium. The provision preserves those federally regulated uses from division restrictions.
