Nothing in this division shall preclude the department from taking disciplinary action against a winegrower or brandy manufacturer for any violation of this division when such violation was committed by the holder of a California winegrower’s agent’s license while acting on behalf of the winegrower or brandy manufacturer.

Notes

Allows the department to discipline a winegrower or brandy manufacturer for a division violation committed by a California winegrower agent licensee while the agent was acting on behalf of that winegrower or brandy manufacturer. The agency relationship does not shield the represented licensee from department disciplinary action for the agent conduct.
