If any provision of this chapter, or if any application thereof to any person or circumstance is held unconstitutional, the remainder of this chapter and the application of its provisions to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Notes
Establishes severability for the chapter, preserving the remaining provisions and their application to other persons or circumstances if any provision or application is held unconstitutional. An unconstitutional part therefore does not invalidate portions and applications that can continue operating independently under the chapter.
