This title applies to an action pending in any United States District Court in the same manner that it applies to an action pending in the courts of this state.

Extends the title to actions pending in any United States District Court in the same manner that it applies to actions pending in California state courts. The provision therefore makes the title's rules applicable in federal district court proceedings as well as in state-court actions.
