No entry upon real estate is deemed sufficient or valid as a claim, unless an action be commenced thereupon within one year after making such entry, and within five years from the time when the right to make it descended or accrued.
Notes
Limits the validity of an entry upon real estate as a claim by requiring an action based on the entry to begin within one year after the entry and within five years after the right to make the entry descended or accrued. An entry failing either timing requirement is not sufficient or valid as a claim.
