California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 6 — Of the Pleadings in Civil Actions, Chapter 7 — General Rules of Pleading, Section 455

In an action for the recovery of real property, it must be described in the complaint with such certainty as to enable an officer, upon execution, to identify it.

Notes

Requires a complaint in an action to recover real property to describe the property with enough certainty that an officer executing on the judgment could identify it. The pleading therefore must contain a property description sufficiently definite for an executing officer to determine which real property is subject to recovery.
