California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 6.5 — Attachment, Chapter 1 — Words and Phrases Defined, Section 481.030

“Account receivable” means “account” as defined in paragraph (2) of subdivision (a) of Section 9102 of the Commercial Code.

Notes

Defines account receivable by adopting the definition of account in the specified paragraph of Section 9102 of the Commercial Code. The provision does not create a separate meaning, but uses that referenced Commercial Code definition wherever account receivable is used under the provisions governed by this definition.
