California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 6.5 — Attachment, Chapter 6 — Temporary Protective Order, Section 486.040

The temporary protective order issued under this chapter shall contain such provisions as the court determines would be in the interest of justice and equity to the parties, taking into account the effects on both the defendant and the plaintiff under the circumstances of the particular case.

Notes

Requires a temporary protective order to contain provisions the court determines are just and equitable to the parties. In choosing those terms, the court must consider the effects on both defendant and plaintiff under the circumstances of the particular case rather than applying a fixed set of protective provisions.
