Nothing in this chapter limits the right to recover for damages caused by an attachment or protective order on any common law theory of recovery.

Notes

Allows recovery for damages caused by an attachment or protective order under any common law theory of recovery, notwithstanding anything in this chapter. The chapter therefore does not restrict a claimant’s right to pursue common law damages arising from the attachment or protective order.
