The levying officer has a special lien, dependent upon possession, on personal property levied upon in the amount of the levying officer’s costs for which an advance has not been made.

Establishes a special lien in favor of the levying officer on personal property that has been levied upon. The lien depends on the officer’s continued possession and secures only the amount of the levying officer’s costs for which no advance payment has been made.
