California Codes, Code of Civil Procedure - CCP, Part 2 — Of Civil Actions, Title 10 — Actions in Particular Cases, Chapter 3.5 — Actions to Re-establish Destroyed Land Records, Section 751.17
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, all rules of law relating to evidence, pleading, practice, new trials, and appeals applicable to other civil actions shall apply to actions authorized by this chapter.
Notes
Extends the rules of law governing evidence, pleading, practice, new trials, and appeals in other civil actions to actions authorized by this chapter. Those general civil-action rules apply except where this chapter provides otherwise, so chapter-specific provisions control over the otherwise applicable general rules when the two differ.
