The referee may, with the approval of the court pursuant to Section 873.110, employ a surveyor with the necessary assistants to aid in making a sale or division of property.
Notes
Allows a referee to employ a surveyor, together with any necessary assistants, to aid in making a sale or division of property. The referee may use that authority only with the court’s approval under the referenced approval provision, so the employment of the surveyor is not authorized solely by the referee’s decision.
