Mechanical, electric, or electronic equipment, which in the opinion of the jury commissioner is satisfactory therefor, may be used in the performance of any function specified by this chapter for the selection and drawing of jurors.

Notes

Allows mechanical, electric, or electronic equipment to perform any juror-selection or drawing function specified by this chapter when the jury commissioner considers the equipment satisfactory for that purpose. The provision imposes no particular technology, procurement requirement, deadline, or mandatory use and leaves suitability to the jury commissioner’s opinion.
