Nothing in this chapter affects any right a party to a contract for the purchase and sale of real property may have to obtain specific performance.
Notes
Establishes that the liquidated-damages chapter does not affect any right a party to a real-property purchase and sale contract may otherwise have to obtain specific performance. The remedy of specific performance therefore remains available according to other law despite the chapter’s rules governing agreed damages.
