The provisions of this title are severable. If any provision of this title or its application is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
Notes
Establishes the title’s provisions as severable, preserving every provision or application that can still be given effect without one held invalid. Invalidity therefore affects only the invalid provision or application to the extent necessary and does not invalidate other portions capable of operating independently.
