Except as otherwise provided in this article, the court shall apportion the costs of partition among the parties in proportion to their interests or make such other apportionment as may be equitable.
Notes
Requires the court, unless another provision of the article applies, to apportion partition costs among the parties in proportion to their interests. Allows the court instead to make a different apportionment when it determines that another allocation of the costs would be equitable.
