Any waiver of the provisions of this chapter shall be void and unenforceable as contrary to the public policy.
Notes
Bars any waiver of the foreclosure-equity-purchase chapter by declaring such a waiver void and unenforceable as contrary to public policy. Contracting parties therefore cannot validly agree to surrender the protections, duties, or remedies the chapter provides, even when a contract expressly states that the seller agrees to waive them.
