California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 1 — Obligations in General, Title 2 — Interpretation of Obligations, Chapter 3 — Conditional Obligations, Section 1437

Conditions concurrent are those which are mutually dependent, and are to be performed at the same time.

Notes

Defines concurrent conditions as conditions that are mutually dependent and must be performed at the same time. Each party’s required performance is therefore tied to the other’s simultaneous performance rather than occurring strictly before or after it, and each condition depends on the corresponding condition being performed concurrently.
