Though the parties to an accord are bound to execute it, yet it does not extinguish the obligation until it is fully executed.
Notes
Establishes that an accord does not extinguish the original obligation merely because the parties are bound to carry out the accord. The underlying obligation remains until the accord is fully executed, at which point satisfaction of the accord can extinguish it.
