California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 3 — Deposit, Chapter 2 — Deposit for Keeping, Article 4 — Innkeepers, Section 1861.25

Where the property taken is claimed by a third person, the rules and proceedings applicable in cases of third-party claims under Division 4 (commencing with Section 720.010) of Title 9 of Part 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure apply.

Notes

Requires third-party claims to property taken under the article to follow the rules and proceedings applicable to third-party claims under the specified division, title, and part of the Code of Civil Procedure. The cross-referenced third-party-claim procedures govern when someone other than the parties claims the property that was taken.
