California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 2.4 — Contracts for Dance Studio Lessons and Other Services, Section 1812.59

Any contract for dance studio lessons and other services which does not comply with the applicable provisions of this title shall be void and unenforceable as contrary to public policy.

Notes

Bars enforcement of a dance-studio contract that does not comply with the applicable provisions of the title by declaring the noncompliant contract void and unenforceable as contrary to public policy. Establishes noncompliance with those applicable statutory requirements as the condition that makes the dance-studio contract unenforceable.
