California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 2.97 — Consumer Collection Notice, Section 1812.702

Any violation of this act shall be considered a violation of the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Title 1.6C (commencing with Section 1788)).

Notes

Establishes every violation of the act as also constituting a violation of the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The provision therefore gives an act violation the additional statutory classification stated in the text, linking noncompliance with this act to noncompliance with the referenced debt-collection law.
