California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 2.9 — Creditor Remedies: Disability Insurance, Section 1812.410

If any provision of this title or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of the title and the application of the provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

Notes

Limits the effect of a holding that any provision of the title, or its application to a person or circumstance, is unconstitutional. Preserves the remainder of the title and application of the affected provision to other persons and circumstances, so those unaffected provisions and applications continue despite the constitutional holding.
