The partial performance of an act secured by a lien does not extinguish the lien upon any part of the property subject thereto, even if it is divisible.

Sets that partial performance of an act secured by a lien does not extinguish the lien on any part of the property subject to it, even when the property is divisible. The lien therefore remains on the subject property despite partial performance of the secured act rather than being proportionally released.
