California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 14 — Lien, Chapter 2 — Mortgage, Article 1.5 — Mortgage Foreclosure Consultants, Section 2945.8

If any provision of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of the article and the application of such provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

Notes

Establishes severability for the foreclosure-consultant article: if any provision or its application to a person or circumstance is held unconstitutional, the remainder of the article and the application of that provision to other persons and circumstances remain unaffected. The rule preserves the remaining provisions and applications despite the invalidity of the challenged part.
